About Libby McKibbon McCawley
I was born and raised here in Fairhope. I’ve been interested in art since I was a very young child and I’ve always known this was the direction I needed to go. Fairhope has always been a community that is highly supportive and nurturing of the arts, and I’ve been fortunate to be an active part of that.
Often my inspiration comes from my early morning walks along Mobile Bay. It may come from pelicans on pilings, a jubilee in progress, or just the serene landscape. The figure is also a subject that I find myself returning to again and again.
I hold memberships in the Eastern Shore Art Association, Mobile Museum of Art, and Mobile Watercolor and Graphic Arts Society.
